Since he's not in the new movie I thought I'd draw a take on how Abe could look in it, mostly based on his evolved look from the comics but with some hints of the people in the Fishing Hamlet in Bloodborne.

I'm still not sure how to feel about the new Hellboy movie, I'll be glad for anything depicting that universe but the first trailer for the film was weird in it's tone to me. The balance between a more serious and violent visual style mixed with what seems to be a lot more humor strikes me as odd. Then again, trailers are rarely in the same tone as the film they're promoting so I'm still optimistic!
Kinda wish all the movies would make something a bit more low-key though, a well made movie just covering Wake The Devil and the earlier stories would be so nice. Curious what other people feel about the upcoming film, let me know!
